Last Saturday evening, the most outstanding and successful companies in Estonia were recognised at the “Estonia’s Best Companies 2023” awards gala. Kristo Klementi, the owner and CEO of Revismo, was voted Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and LHV.
Accepting the award, Kristo said that it was a great honour and of course it is a recognition to the whole Revismo team, without whom such success would not be possible. “I’m very happy and proud that both my own and Revismo’s work has been noticed and recognised with this award. Many thanks also to all our customers for their trust and cooperation.”
“Kristo and his team have achieved impressive success with Revismo, strengthening the Estonian economy through export growth and expanding the customer base to several international markets. Their dedication has earned the company the title of Gazelle Company for several years in a row, recognising their exceptional achievement in entrepreneurship,” said Mait Palts, Director General of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, adding that it is important to support young people, which will also inspire the next generation of young entrepreneurs.
“This year’s young entrepreneur of the year has already been developing his business for 10 years, which means that he started his business during his university studies and that the field of activity of the business he has created is also related to his university studies. The strengths of our businesses are largely linked to our ability to capitalise on what we have learned and the experience we have gained. As a bank, we will continue to support the youthful, risk-taking energy and keep an eye out for new success stories,” said Indrek Nuume, Head of Corporate Banking at LHV.
The Revismo team wishes good luck and success to the other top three nominees Arti Kütt (Cleveron AS) and Tõnis Voitka (KrattWorks OÜ), as well as congratulations to the tremendously knowledge-intensive biotech company Icosagen Cell Factory, which was awarded both Innovator of the Year and Company of the Year.
The Young Entrepreneur Award is presented by the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and LHV Bank and supported by the President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis. The €5,000 Young Entrepreneur Award, sponsored by LHV Bank, was awarded for the ninth time. The Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition is meant for owners and managers of companies registered in Estonia who are up to 35 years old and who have stood out in ensuring success of their companies, innovative use of their products, services or technologies, and who already export or have export potential.
