We are pleased to announce that the Snoller sled with wheels has won the 2024 Design of the Year Award. This year, Patendiamet introduced this prestigious award for the first time, recognizing an Estonian company that has brought an outstandingly designed product to market and protected it as a design solution.
From Necessity to Innovation
According to Snoller OÜ’s founder, Lilian Promet, the idea was born out of a real need: “The idea for Snoller came from my struggle as a mother pushing a stroller through deep snow in winter. Using a sled worked outdoors but became impractical indoors or when crossing roads. This led to the idea of creating a sled with wheels.”
Engineering & Design – Hand in Hand
The design and technical development of Snoller took shape through close collaboration with Revismo’s engineering team. Matis Otstak, Kristo Klementi, and Erik Heiki Veelmaa focused on usability, aesthetics, and manufacturability to create a functional and visually appealing product.
Revismo’s engineers and designers contributed by:
- Developing a distinctive design & visual identity, ensuring Snoller’s unique and attractive appearance
- Enhancing the user experience, making Snoller intuitive and easy to use
- Optimizing technical solutions, ensuring durability and efficiency in various conditions
- Refining production processes, making Snoller cost-effective and scalable for mass production
A Proud Achievement & Gratitude
Snoller’s Design of the Year Award win demonstrates that when engineering and design work together, innovative ideas successfully reach the market. The Revismo team is grateful for this inspiring collaboration and congratulates the Snoller team on their well-deserved recognition.
