At Revismo, we value the exchange of knowledge and practical experience. For the third year in a row<\/a>, we\u2019ve had the opportunity to collaborate with the <\/span>State Technical College in Sonthofen, Germany<\/span><\/b>, by hosting young interns interested in <\/span>engineering<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>product development<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the internship, the students worked alongside our team and gained a better understanding of what engineering work looks like in a real-world setting.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What did the interns learn?<\/strong><\/h6>\n

During the two-week internship, the students worked side by side with our engineering team and explored various aspects of real-world engineering. Their hands-on experience included:<\/p>\n

    CAD Design<\/strong> \u2013 3D modelling of components and products using industry-standard software<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Technical Documentation<\/strong> \u2013 Creating user manuals, manufacturing drawings, and assembly guides<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Risk Analysis<\/strong> \u2013 Evaluating product safety and regulatory compliance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Product Lifecycle Analysis<\/strong> \u2013 Understanding development stages from concept to end-of-life<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Feedback from the interns:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>\n

    Johanna:<\/span><\/b> “So first of all, I learned what program professional engineers use to create something like a conveyer belt. The internship helped me to understand what engineers do. The time at Revismo went over pretty fast and I learned alot about engineering.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

    Helena:<\/span><\/b> “Thank you so much for the chance to learn something about your job. I really enjoyed being here. The best part for me was, that we were able to work all by our self and got super advices from everyone. In these two weeks I learned much more about CAD.”\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

    Maxi:<\/span><\/b> “I have learned more about possible dangers about different kinds of products and also the lifecycle and production, focused on the sustainability. The internship was a good insight and helped to understand how engineers are working and also how much time is spent to develop something new. I am leaving with new knowledge, thank you very much!”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

    Why this kind of collaboration matters?<\/span><\/b><\/h6>\n

    International internships help young people better understand the practical side of engineering and develop skills that are not always part of formal education.
