Over two days, students were challenged to solve real-world engineering problems under time pressure and with limited resources\u2014testing their skills in mechanics, electronics, and software.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Engineering logic on the track<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>During the competition, teams built and programmed robots to complete a technically demanding race track as quickly and stably as possible. The focus was not only on the final result, but also on the overall logic and structure of the solution.<\/p>\n<p>The most successful teams demonstrated a strong understanding of<strong> IoT principles<\/strong>, integrating sensors, data flow, and control logic into cohesive systems. Their solutions also stood out for systematic engineering thinking, thoughtful mechanical design, and clear software architecture. The competition highlighted how hands-on experience and real-time problem solving are essential for developing capable engineers.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Revismo&#8217;s role at competition<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Revismo<\/strong> was proud to support the Folkrace 2025 robotics competition as <strong>one of its official partners and also contributed to the jury panel<\/strong>. <strong>Our area manager of IoT, Hans Johann<\/strong>, served on the jury for the \u201cOutstanding Technical Solution\u201d category, evaluating projects based on innovation and robot reliability.<\/p>\n<p>According to Hans, the top-performing teams demonstrated impressive control in servo systems and made clever use of competition rules\u2014for instance, by positioning sensors in a way that allowed robots to ignore moving obstacles.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The next generation of IoT-minded engineers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The participants\u2019 technical level was consistently strong, with many teams showing a mature understanding of core engineering principles. It was evident that many young talents are already thinking in terms of systems and data\u2014key pillars of modern <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/revismo.com\/en\/teenus\/iot-devices\/\">IoT<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/revismo.com\/en\/teenus\/development\/\">engineering<\/a><\/strong> workflows.<\/p>\n<p>At Revismo, we believe in supporting initiatives that promote the development of practical engineering skills and inspire the next generation of technical minds.
